Great lens at a reasonable price, compared to Leica, and great value
I read many reviews and have to agree that this is a great lens at a great price, relative to Leica at about $7 thousand less. I have the 50 APO, wonderful, but heavy lens, combined with 240, quite heavy for long hauling. This lens is lighter with great solid build and the images are wonderfully sharp, great saturation, and reminds me of film. Will consider Voigthlander other products going forward.

Better safe than sorry
I ordered as replacement because camera alerted me to check the age after only 14 months of use. Don't know how much life the old battery had left. Camera manual stated it could effect performance without being specific. Better safe than sorry.
New battery gives me the impression that the pictures look better. I shoot mostly jpg so hard to tell, and I probably want to believe that $200 for a battery is a good value.
