saved me lots of problems
I was getting ready to disassemble the entire propane supply system starting with the bottle connection on my houseboat because of a strong propane smell. My neighbor let me use his gas detector and it found the leak almost immediately. The leak wasn't anywhere near where I was going to start disconnecting and checking. I was able to go completely through the entire propane supply system in a matter of minutes. After cleaning and reinstalling the leaking fitting the gas detector confirmed it was fixed and not leaking. I took a photo of the gas detector, found the same one on eBay and now have one of my own.

Great Pedestal, smooths out the bumpy ride in choppy waters
These seat pedestal are the best thing that's happen to my 17ft Smoker Craft. Having had a few back surgeries and one recently, when the wind picks up and it gets real choppy out there you can really feel it in your back and not in a good way. Since I installed the wave rider pedestal at the helm the ride is soooo much better and I can't even feel the choppy waters. Had to buy one for the passenger side when I started getting complaints about not having a soft ride like me.
