Large Format Scanner
1 of 1 found this helpful Requires SCSI Card to fit into a PC slot in the back of your computer. Adaptec SCSI cards have drivers available on their web site or through Microsoft. If using Windows XP, do not load the BIOS on the card. Drivers for the scanner are not available from Polaroid any longer. Use VueScan as your scanner software. It will load a driver from its sub-directory. Scanner has hidden expense, that is buying the necessary films to calibrate the scanner. These can total as much as the cost of the scanner. Use at least an A2 printer for best results. Large files may not open in some versions of Photoshop. Hop up the memory for this scanner - not for the machinery, but for the end TIFF files.
