History in one coin.
When Tomas Jefferson was young, his father sent him to town for supplies and could have very well given him this exact coin to spend. Ya gotta love the history of coins and this 1/2 reale is a great example.

Quality and affordable batteries.
Hard to find at any store, the batteries work great in the laser light of my gun.

The item is a Higley copper
In the early days of colonial america, colonists were experiencing a great shortage of coins. England imported a few from places like Ireland, but locals
(who just happen to own a copper mine) struck some of their own (Higley coppers). Four types are known.
This piece is a real history of our past, as we took it upon ourselves to supply locals (New England colonies) with coin to transact daily business without England's permission. This coin is but one example of many copper or silver coins issued by colonists in direct defiance of the English Proclamations telling us what we can or cannot due.
There are so few of this type of copper coin that any Higley Copper is of premium value. Most, if not all, are very worn and, unlike New Jersey or new york coppers of the same era of which many quality examples can be found, any Higley grading Very Good is worth the same as some uncirculated examples of the others.
There is NO downside for this coin.
