Nice product

I passed on this book 44 years ago - but thrilled I read it now.
His theory of how insects communicate and are attracted to some things while avoiding nearly identical things is a compelling argument. The groundwork in early chapters seem out of place until the conclusions. This is a technical work but not so much that rereading key assertions or using internet backup makes it understandable. Follow up work could lead to a chemical free way to control pests. He was way ahead of other research in this area. I enjoyed it and have started to look for any advances being made in this field.
