Simple, old tech that works well!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this to set the governor on the generator engine I just rebuilt as it MUST run at 3600 rpm to supply proper 60 hz AC. It worked great.
I used one like it 30 years ago in the mower shop I was a mechanic while I attended engineering school. It's old and simple technology but it works. No batteries, no complexity, nothing to break no batteries to change and the calibration is inherent in the design. The simplest solution is often the best solution.

Just like OEM!
1 of 1 found this helpful With free shipping was a much better deal than buying locally (although I often feel guilty for doing that). With 9 of them left over ( only needed 1) I hope I have a lifetime supply!
Beware of some of the fakes out there that appear to be just hardware store generic 1/4-20 bolts. These actually have shear grooves cut into their shanks.

Great looking switch for a vintage vehicle retro-fit!
I chose this switch because it had the looks of what you'd find in a '60's-'70's -ish vehicle. I'm fitting my 1966 Ford Fairlane convertible with power windows (was never offered OEM) and these switches had the period look I was after. They seem to be of good quality. The connectors are available from Delco, but beware! They are more spendy than the switch! Will see how they hold up long term.
