Interesting book after reading 'brave new world revisited' which references this book.

Excellent value thread repair kit.
Works just like the branded product at a fraction of the price.
Tap and supplied drill worked well on the cast alloy I was repairing.
Would certainly buy further kits from this manufacturer and would recommend these over the more expensive alternatives.

Work well and look nice.
I bought these for a classical guitar to replace the original ones which had become very stiff in operation, in spite of my attempts to lubricate them (they had been on since 1979!)
These had the same friction free system as much more expensive branded machine heads but at a much more realistic price.
They have a high quality appearance, the colour and finish of the metal parts is very good (not perfect, but perfectly acceptable given the price) and the faux ivory tuning 'buttons' look nice too.
Fitting was straightforward with the supplied gold screws (I checked before hand and found that the screw spacing was identical), the 10mm roller bearings fitting into the head-stock without modification in this case (worth checking as some guitars have smaller 3/8" rollers).
In use they live up to their 'friction free' moniker, the tuning action now being very smooth and easy (I lubricated the nut grooves with soft pencil lead to allow the strings to slide easily).
I can recommend this product and will not hesitate to buy some for another classical guitar.
