Perfect for light cleanup
Just what I wanted for light, quick cleanup of kitchen floor at the end of the day.

Nice curiosity but difficult to maintain today
The important question is why do you want to buy a 10+ year-old player that has management software which will not run on any current OS? The unsupported Sony software to load songs doesn't run on Win10 and there is no Apple/*NIX version. There is a 10-year old (now abandoned) open source Java app (JSymphonic) with which you can load MP3s. These players were designed around the proprietary ATRAC audio format which imposes frustrating DRM problems.
Bottom line is that it is a lovely piece of hardware for its time but expect frustration in loading it with audio.

Battery longevity needs improvement
My experience is consistent with some blog reviews that identify problems with battery integrity and starting. My relatively new, fully-charged battery loses most of its charge within a couple of days. People who need electric start will be left in the lurch but worse, recoil start will not work either because the EFI needs power to operate. Presumably, the battery charger is meant to be charging at all times, which may be inconvenient and hypothetically the generator may still not start a day or so after the power goes out.
