Must have tool to speed up disc brake adjustments
This is a must have tool to speed up disc brake adjustments but will only work if used correctly.
Step 1: True the rotor. If rotor is not trued then this tool will not work.
Step 2: Remove brake pads.
Step 3: Push pistons all the way in with a flat tool.
Step 4: Loosen disc brake bolts.
Step 5: Reinsert brake pads.
Step 6: Insert Birzman adjuster tool.
Step 7: Press brake lever multiple times until the position of the lever does not change.
Step 8: With brake lever pressed firmly, tighten disc brake bolts.
Step 9: Remove Birzman brake adjuster tool.
Step 10: Go ride.
If you still have brake rub then you most likely did not push the pistons all the way in or your rotor is not true.
