Factory Fresh
Great original replacement part. The MGB I bought was missing the bezel as well as the bulb. Didn't even know there was a light there. Nice to have this handy and inexpensive convenience back in working order.

A Consistently Great Product
These Bowser kits are top quality and are easy to assemble. Smooth running trucks and most include Kadee #5 couplers. I especially like these shorter 70 ton hoppers due to the 15" radius curves on my industrial spur.

Another Great Walther's Offering!
Walther's is a trusted brand for providing railroaders with a great assortment of cars, engines, and buildings. This Front Runner is no exception.
It particularly appealed to me because I am modeling the Southern Pacific Sunshine Route which made great use of intermodal service. However, my limited 22 degree curves on my mains made using 60ft intermodal cars out of the question. These shorter 50ft Front Runners filled the bill nicely, allowing me to model intermodal service after all.
The cars are colorful and sturdy and are unique in that they only have one wheel at each end. (I wouldn't want to run them on anything less than an 18 degree radius curve for mainline service; 22 is probably a more reasonable limit.)
The trailers are nicely rendered, but I will say that they do require a bit of attention to make them prototypical. There are no mudflaps, the taillights are molded, but not colored, and detail of the suspension is pretty much lacking. But given the price, such shortcomings are to be expected.
Overall, I highly recommend adding these visually appealing units to your layout.
