Interesting photos but confusing text

I bought this for the beautiful vintage designs and related instructions on how to do the beading. The instructions are impossible to follow! At least for me, a novice beader--maybe others with more experience will have success. I tried every interpretation and permutation of the text that I could possibly conceive, but my attempts all turned into a hot mess. The pictures (all black and white) are interesting historical documents, though, and provide inspiration if not instruction.

Blue Cheer + Analog Tapes = Winning Combination

I popped this right into my old '80's boom box, set the equalizers on "V", and was blown away. Great quality sound, great selection of songs. Cassette tape audio is so much better than anything digital--and Blue Cheer were Kings of Analog. Turn it up!
