Adds safety and ease in electrical work
The extra light is handy but I truly like the added buzzer. I had a couple of voltage testers but they only glowed red when AC voltage was close. These have a buzzer. It is easy to detect AC voltage on a circuit breaker or a contactor. If you detect the AC on the input side but not on the output then the breaker is tripped or bad, and the contactor is not energized and possibly bad... No bulky meters needed to check many things. This makes many tasks easier and faster.

Very comfortable, EXTREMELY BRIGHT
I've purchased many lights including the SolarStorm which claimed to be 5000LM. I've purchased two of this light (Boruit RJ-3000 and RJ 3001) and BOTH are brighter than the SolarStorm. The brightest setting on the SolarStorm is NOT as bright as any of the settings on the Boruit... This is one super bright light. Yes I would recommend this light. In fact I just won the bid on another one

Be careful to install the batteries in the same direction because they are in parallel. It's shown in the diagram inside the battery pack. It will operate on just ONE battery. If you do let a child play with it and he installs the batteries, it might melt the battery holder as it happened to a friend of mine. Also these things are too bright to let a child play with it because they might try staring into the beam and it is really bright. The batteries last a long time also. it produces a good spot but still gives enough ambient light so you can see the close parts of the trail and not trip from looking at something far away. It is light weight and fairly comfortable. Has a red light on back that allows people to see you when your back is towards them.
