Classic Metal Works HO Scale 1974 Buick Wagon Gold Mist 30586 MWI30586
    Aug 26, 2020
Great addition to the much needed HO domiestic cars for the 1970's.
There are not many HO domestic auto's available for 1970's modelers; this is one and a nice looking auto to put on open auto racks. I only wish they Classic Metal Works would do a few more color versions.
PECO STREAMLINE SL-E8361 ELECTROFROG Code 83 #6 Right Hand Turnout HO Scale 1:87
    Feb 10, 2021
Electrofrog Peco code 83 #6 - best option but unfortunately discontinued by Peco
Unfortunately Peco has decided to discontinue the Electrofrog code 83 #6, which is a better option than the Insulfrog and the new Unifrog. IMO, these are the better option so I bought what few are left that I could find.
HO OVERLAND BRASS OMI #1127 D&RGW RIO GRANDE STEEL MODERN RIVETED CABOOSE #1443
    May 14, 2020
Nice brass caboose but appears it may have been stored in a hot place.
Overland makes a correct Rio Grande caboose and the paint job is representative of one used by the D&RGW in the 1970's. The one issue I've noted with this model is the paint job seems to be marked by the plastic wrap, which may have gotten too warm if the model was stored in a hot place. Fixing that issue might not be easy.
