Gaggia Classic Pro Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
    Sep 13, 2021
the cheapest real espresso machine available.
Bought my Gaggia Classic as a refurb from WholeLatteLove and I could'nt be happier. The Gaggia Classic Pro is the cheapest way to get into a proper espresso machine I've just finished three Americanos for my family and we're all enjoying next levels of caffination. The machine arrived packaged OK but once fired up it has worked perfectly. The only mods I've done is swapped out the standard pressure relief spring for a 9lb spring and an 18g portafilter basket. If you want to know why watch the James Hoffman video on getting into a cheap espresso machine. I recommend a Eureka Mignon Knotte grinder to go with it.

CH Products Fighterstick Flight Stick USB
    May 24, 2018
    Looks Boring, works great.
This is a simple review for a simple product. If you want a flight stick for your games that doesn't let you down then this is the one. It's boring looking and an old design and completely devoid of flashy graphics. Even the LED's are just old school basic design. But while other stick manufacturers use cheap plastics like styrene this is made out of FRP (Fiber reinforce plastic). The same stuff they use for their industrial products. If you crack it open you'll find all of the pots and switches are oversized and easily replaced. Even the USB cable is oversized and reinforced. The stick is a bit big and the hats are well spread out so sometimes if you have small hands you have to reach but the other side of the coin is that it's very rare to activate a control by mistake. I know gamers who have had these devices for decades. They don't use encoders but the pots don't seem to wear out.The eight bit resolution can be noisy but I don't seem to have any trouble in practice with the sims I play. This is the best. Just buy it.
    Kenwood Chef Titanium KMC010 750W 4.9 5 Quart Mixer w/ Food Processor & Blender
    Jan 20, 2016
It should actually be called a Kenwood Souse Chef.
I forgot all about Kenwoods after I came to America. My U.S. kitchen had Kitchenaids in them and all my appliances were stored in the cupboard under the counter. Right where I never used them. Then I saw this machine at a specialty store in Seattle and it finally dawned on me. "One machine to rule them all!" Instead of the blender/mixer/processor being out of sight under the counter and never being used, just have one machine that's always out and the attachments are in the cupboard that's above the counter. It helps that the Chef is great to look at but it's the fact that it's always available on the counter that makes it so appealing. It's built super rugged out of machined and cast aluminum and because the bowl is low down it doesn't vibrate and shake like a Kitchenaid does. The motor is amazingly powerful (about twice as powerful as a standard Kitchenaid) and it never stalls or labors. I bake my own bread, Cookies are a breeze (Oatmeal/Cranberry are a current favourite) in fact I've just finished a batch of Pizza dough for the evening meal. I use my Kenwood multiple times a day. Fruit smoothies in the morning are heavenly and I now use my food processor almost every day. If you prepare virtually everything you eat (I cook better than most restaurants so why spend the money) you need an assistant that's immediately available, never fails and does a brilliant job, get this machine. It's so much more than a food mixer. If it somehow failed (they are infinitely repairable) or got stolen I would immediately replace it. Next to my knives it's the most important thing in my kitchen.
