What a wonderful shipment!
The packing was done very professionally and oh how I love the box you put them it. Thankyou can’t wait to restring my whole bead collection of VTG beads. This will now be enough for my whole tree.
Great exchange! Pic of the tree from last year.

The package was damaged and item lost due to the incompetence of the USPS, but the seller quickly refunded the purchase. Would definitely buy from again.

The ION Audio VCR2PC VHS copy box is a useful, albiet a very utilitarian VHS player. It's only purpose is to copy your old VHS library onto a computer to either save as files or to DVD. It doesn't have 4 heads, or any of the later VHS bells and whistles; not even a clock. It doesn't need them. It does strip Macrovision (which you won't find in the manual) and gives a reasonable copy. Sure, you can use an analog TV card to a computer and save a pretty file... except for the Macrovision. The copies may look sort of low quality; they really are just VHS-- that is low quality by todays standards. You are still getting the 230 to 250 lines of resolution that where there. The software can store a file or right to DVD.
One thing to remember if you are transfering 100 old VHS tapes... the heads will probably get dirty. Have a good head cleaning tape. It may get too dirty even for that; you might want to learn how to clean heads. I had to twice in one old tape. The problem is the old tapes, not the player.
Unless you babysit the player, you will end up recording longer than the tape. There are freeware programs like avidemux that can cut the end off the file very quickly. There is a modest editior with the box as well.
