A course survival guide from Roundings to Rules.
Elvstrom's books interpreting the Yacht Racing Rules are legendary. From technical to tactical, the diagrams illustrate the nuances of success on the course to the potential tribulations in the protest room. Few people today know of his inovative contributions to sailing and in this case the Rules. Paul is the man how incorparted the origanl Two Boat Length rule in 1964 which was written into the 1965 Rules. In sailmaking, he innovated the technique of sewing the boltrope to the luff tape thereby eliminating the need for the laborious task of hand stitching.
He was in many ways, the king of sailing, as his sail logo indicates.
As to any dislikes, there is one, the plastic boats have been cheapened. This may have occurred several additons in the past.
