A good movie with excellent characterisation. Judy Garland was fantastic in this dramatic role. Burt Lancaster was good as always.

An interesting and insightful view of the actor by his 4th wiffe Marina Anderson. Very intimate and bitterly honest. I found his stange habits unfathomable. I didn't realise that DC was an alcoholic as his acting never portrayed him as being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It is, in fact, a very tragic portrayal of a person with an exteme talent which as just thrown away. He could have given so much more. Very sad end.

What a great movie. Very depressing at times but the human spirit shines through. Looked the movie, music and the performances. David Carradine was fab. as always. Just like his father. A natural.
