Long-time user
Been using for many years. Not sure about effectiveness but colntinuing as precautionary.

Using daily as recommended
No way to be sure how much good this does but find the product highly recommended for those with age related macular degeneration, so we use it.

Very good so far
Most hand can openers are good at first but the gears fail too quickly, Farberware, for instance. This one lacked the finish of some but cuts well and is very satisfactory after a few uses. Time will tell. If the gears hold up I will be completely pleased. Being USA made I'm hoping the steel is better than that from China from where most seem to originate. If the poor de-burring of edges bothers you a good flat file will take care that that, but it works well just as is..
