Clean and Loud

I installed this amp on a boat that is kept indoor storage every winter and very low water or moisture exposure risk. I installed it along with a KXA 1200 bass amp. In my opinion, it takes a keen ear and experienced sound technician or alot of trial and error to critically and properly set the EQ filters. I accidently connected the DC power in reverse polarity and it immediately blew my fuse with a loud snap. I made the correction, replaced the fuse and it performs very well. Always keep your battery fully charged otherwise the amp will either shut down or sound whimpy and distorted. The KXA 4004 does not need 4 guage power cable if the run is reasonably short, 8 guage works fine. This unit performs very well for me.
