Really solid carbon fiber tripod.

Very big quality. Very large easy to handle tighteners. Versatile with the optional leveler. Easier to maneuver in a small bird blind with the absence of the center column. A bit heavy but other than that I love it.

Great for big glass, exceptional quality.

Tried out several tripods in aluminum and carbon fiber including the Manfrotto 190 and discovered that the carbon fiber Manfrotto 190 vibrated (oscillated) less than the aluminum 190 . Both 190 versions vibrated more than the heavier Manfrotto 055 aluminum with my Tamron 150-600 G2 and Nikon D500 combo. I didn't have a carbon fiber 055 to test but took a gamble and am very, very pleased with the stability of this unit. My only hesitation is that I chose the 3 segment leg version over the 4 segment with the rationalization that fewer segments would be more rigid, with only anecdotal evidence. Based on specs, the 4 leg segment version is more compact and would be easier to pack than mine. Still all said you have to love the quality.
