A Set To Avoid.
The price should have given it away but this is a terrible set of brakes.
The threads on the adjusters are very poorly cut, the barrel nut is very loose in the housing but still catches and locks up as you adjust the cable tension.
Assemble and adjust everything as normal and the lever comes to the bar, seems it's a combination of cable stretch and the pads compressing under load which is pretty abnormal.
So I went out and bought new pads and cables as I don't trust these Wish quality parts on my father's bike.
Should have spent more and bought a decent set.

Wow, what an absolute monster of a soldering iron!
Wow, what a soldering iron!
Sadly I bought two rechargeable irons before buying the Scope and the Scope makes the other two more expensive units look like toys.
I was planning on running it off a portable jump pack but as the iron draws over 70amps from a cold start that is not an option, I am always near a battery at work so that is not a massive issue.
As a test I soldered some 8AWG wire and it did it easily, my gas one wouldn't even do that. If you are learning to solder this would probably not be a great choice, the black grip is a momentary switch that has to be slid forward so your continual finger movements keep the tip temp at whatever temp you desire.
Great Aussie made product at an affordable price, even comes with an extra tip and two spare heating elements too.

Great product for my application.
I am using these as guides for a motorised tripod, the bushes have allowed me to use carbon rod instead of much heavier Stainless or Chromed Steel and they slide so smoothly compared to cheap linear recirculating ball bearings.
Great product at a great price, couldn't find these in Australia.
