Old style. Better than the original.
All metal. Better than the one that came on the drill. The original one was vinyl material (HDPVC?)
over the top half, steel on the bottom ring. The top section got slick and wore making it hard to tighten. This one has better grip and not so smooth you can't grip it. The grips in the old one had more gripping surface; that's why I give it a 4.

Works every time. No problem with the flame being poofed out.
I didn't know these things were still available. I stepped on mine and it is as old as the dirt. Currently it is held together with electrical tape. I like it because I can lite things from a distance with it (like the gas stove and heater). Plus the usual torch.
