This product is working well on my 4B textured hair. I am transitioning from relaxed styling to natural style without having to do a big chop. In my use this shampoo helps to tame the intersection of natural texture new growth with the relaxed existing hair. This together with PhytoElixir nutrition mask has helped with moisturizing my hair.
