It works!

Pour a portion into your brown toilet. Follow up with a full freshly boiled kettle of water. Leave 5-10mins. Scrub with toilet brush a bit. Rejoice that something actually works. However, the process will need to be repeated every time you decide that the toilet looks too sad to even sit on. For I and my girlfriend, that means e.g. every six weeks. But it depends on how hard your water is and on the condition of the toilet's inner surfaces (not to mention, how often you pay it a visit).
