Happy with the performance and price of this unit.
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this unit for occasional use after reading numerous positive reviews online. Great value for money and certainly does what it is supposed to. So easy to operate I didn't need the instructions to get going. Comes with window suction mount and car charger although works with 24v so can be used in trucks also (but won't avoid low bridges or narrow roads ). Voice instructions are clear and concise as are visual directions. Mine has the smaller 3.5 in screen but I find it easy enough to see and use. Even in map mode it will warn of speed limit areas in case you miss them.
Just make sure the map data is up to date as an upgrade is around £40.
Overall very pleased with this device.

Thermometer hygrometer
This was a bit more expensive than other thermometer/hygrometers but I wanted something that will hopefully last. Only had it a few weeks but so far so good. Figures are easy to read and the min/max values are handy. These reset every day. No backlight that I am aware of but not a deal breaker. It can be desk or wall mounted too which is convenient.
Might update after a while with regard to battery life etc. Takes 2x aaa batteries by the way.
Overall seems decent quality and does what it is supposed to.

1 of 1 found this helpful Great image quality from a compact body. Worth the premium price compared to the gm1 as the viewfinder is so useful (although small). It works well with the 12-32mm or a pancake prime to keep the dimensions as tiny as possible. Can fit in a coat pocket with these lenses attached.
I also have the lumix gx80 which is a more capable camera but there is a penalty of weight and size. It has a tilting screen and in body stabilisation which the gm5 lacks.
For a discreet and relatively pocketable camera however with image quality way better than most compacts I find the gm5 very useful.
