Aquamarine? ummm... not sure.
My beads have zero translucence to them. They ARE nicely cut and matching in size/shape. But the opaque color isn't even pretty....just a really weird shade of baby blue, maybe like you would see on cheap flannel sheets, but a muddier color. on my string, I see about 8-10 beads that I could use. The beads in the picture of the listing look AAA. Mine don't even warrant grade A for color.

Amazing earrings!
When I purchased these, I thought the enlarged photo was a CAD drawing. But, when I got them, I realized that these earrings are such high quality that they really did look that good highly enlarged for the photo. The craftsmanship of the gold settings is excellent and a beautiful Rose Gold. The CZ stones are so sparkly that I almost wished they were a bit smaller...only their huge size belies the fact that they are artificial gemstones. So, the value of these earrings is just amazing....I've never seen anything like it and I purchase a LOT of earrings. On top of it all, they came really nicely packaged. These earrings are a huge win and I intend to purchase several more pairs just to keep for gifts.

Electric lightning opals completely mixed results...
I know some have received beautiful opals from Opalmine. I spent $28 on 2 "Electric Lightning" opals and they were complete duds. Although the base color when held in the hand (against skin) was a nice creamy color, there was very, very little color flash. I could see almost no color. When I put them down on a surface, the colors flashed a little more, but the base color was not appealing. ick. I saw NO colors like the promo photos they use. All I get were 2 quite ugly lumps that, frankly, ended up in the trash. yes, that bad.
