Upgraded and love it...
1 of 1 found this helpful Upgraded from a Roku stick. Newer version allows for 4K and grater range from wifi although that was not necessary for our home. Love this newer version, It is well worth the cost of the upgrade.

We stayed with Samsung...
1 of 1 found this helpful This set replaces a 2014 Q90 curved screen. We also considered equivalent LG and Sony. We decided to stay with Samsung as the expected life of the display seemed more likely than LG and we did not find a Sony that was competitive in price and quality. The sound is greatly improved over the 2014 set. The four speakers really do allow the sound to follow the action on screen. We did purchase Samsung's top of the line curved sound bar for the 2014 set. That did not improve the sound for that set and added the difficulty of assessing the reason for the poor sound. We have not yet connected external sound to this set as the onboard speakers are performing so well.
