Nice switch for a small application
This 100Mbit switch has 5 ethernet ports and a redundant 24VDC supply and can be mounted on a DIN Rail. This is perfect for a small application.
When I received it it was extremely dirty. Everything was covered in black powder like it has been used in a coal mine.
I did not power it on to test it becouse of the condition. Instead I took everthing apart and cleaned it with demineralized water and left it for a couple of hours. Then I asampled it and powered it on and it works as it should. This switch have had a very rough life and it still works:-) This is really amazing. I can recommand this produckt

Super nice flowmeter for HERMS beer brewing process
I use two IFM SM6004 flow meters in my home beer brewing HERMS process to messure the actual wortflow and temperature in the mash circulation process and in the sparging process. I use the 4-20mA values as input to the PLC that controls the process. It is very robust and can work with temperatures up to 80°C without problems. I also really like the design as it is easy to clean after use.
