The only model that fits, but obvious lack of quality
The Kluson Planetary is the only direct replacement available for the Firebird (reverse banjo type) six in line. The fit and looks are perfect, but there is an obvious weakness in the Kluson product manufacturing. I'd say at least 3 of the six tuners already have some loose or back lash in the gear.
I knew from experience I had to expect this from Kluson. They don't built their product to last and even brand knew they show weakness. The only reason I bought these is because it's the only direct replacement available on the market. And do I have to say that prices go in the opposite direction from quality...
Conclusion : I bought Kluson because it's the only offering.
If Schaller or Gotoh or even Grover would make one, I'd go to them eyes closed.
