Spiritual Man, by Watchman Nee
3 of 3 found this helpful Probably the most thorough teaching on the subject of body, soul, and spirit by any Christian writer. It is a Christian classic. It is a must reading for anyone serious about understanding how the Holy Spirit will lead a believer into the deeper life. Unless you can adequately distinguish between that which is soulish and that which is spiritual, you will always continue to struggle with your old life. Nee here helps the believer to not only understand the difference, but to help others to know the difference. See Hebrews 4:12--"dividing the soul and the spirit."

Must reading for any believer!
This is one of the great Christian classics! Many famous Christian leaders will tell you it is a must for any Christian to read. Watchman Nee's first chapter on "Brokenness" and subsequence chapters are simple, but some on the most powerful books on the Christian life you will ever read.

From a "Little Christ" to the "All-Inclusive Christ."
1 of 1 found this helpful A copy of Witness Lee's book should be a Christian classic in every home. The first several chapters alone set the stage for all that is in the book. Most Christians deal with a "Little Christ;" whereas, Lee significantly enlarges that picture of Jesus by speaking of Him as the "All-Inclusive Christ." Only when we understand and experience the full picture of Christ our life can we overcome the world as Jesus overcame the world and all that is in it.
Lee shares from the Old Testament a number of types of Christ, from His being the Passover Lamb, to the water, and the manna in the wilderness. All of these represent only one deminsion of Christ, but it is the "land" as he accurately points out is the best type of Christ we have in the Scriptures. He beautifully demonstrates this from numerous references in the Bible.
A must reading for any serious student of the Bible who wants to see a clear picture of the purpose and direction of God.
