A dissapointment on many levels.
1 of 1 found this helpful I kept trying to figure out how half a cow could be eaten without more than one or two pictures being taken, so I did an experiment. I set up two cameras alongside a creek and let them be for a week. At the end of the week, the Primos truth cam 46 ultra recorded 7 video clips. The other camera 78! That's a failure of 10 to 1 picture wise.
This camera also has an issue with the software just locking up and not stopping or taking commands from the control screen, leading you to pull a battery and start over.
I think part of the problem compared to the truth cam 35 is a very poor battery mounting system. The 35 has springs that keep the batteries secure. The 46 Ultra HD has only bent connections that are easily distorted just by putting the batteries in. Very poor setup compared to the older models.
The 46 also uses a 3volt battery in the computer board to keep programing going. Get this. The battery can't be replaced. It's spot welded in place, so once this battery craps out you're done, and that's from the service dept at Primos. I took it apart just to see for myself, and yes it's has the connections spot welded in place!
Very poor performance. Very poor motion detection. Very poor layout with the welded in place battery. Outside of that, it's a great camera!

Go with Jacobs brand and do ir right the first time.
The Jacob line of chucks are far superior to what is coming out of China under names like Grizzly. When you're serious about power tapping or drilling precision holes, look no further than the Jacobs brand.

No replacement for quality RIdgid Dies.
There's just about no replacement for the quality you'll get with Ridgid Threading Dies. While they are expensive, there's a world of quality difference between these and the made in china counterfeits known as "Steel Dragon" brand. Well worth the cost of buying the genuine Ridgid High Speed Steel for excellent threading over Alloy.
Also, one other tip. Use a top of the line cutting oil like Habcool 318. Cheap cutting oils give you cheap results and cost tool life.
