Best dollar for dollar rifle scope.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Nikon P3 3X9-40 BDC Recticle without a doubt is the best dollar for dollar scope on the market. Built strong with its aluminum housing compliments any metal scope rings (my preference) for a solid lock on the scope. Though there are several worthy competitors producing high quality, good bang for the buck scopes. Nikon was my choice as the manufacture offers a ballistics app called, "Nikon Spot On" designed to help the shooter gain full use of the BDC Recticle in determining shot fall off in yardage. Mine was mounted on my Remington 770 which at best is a budget friendly rifle but with the Nikon P3 scope, just became a potential 400 yard killer firing hot rounds such as 7MM Mags. Sadly, stock and quantities are low as Nikon decided to exit from the Rifle scope business. But they're still out there and should you ever look for what I call the best dollar for dollar scope. The Nikon P3 3X9-40 is a gem and one to have on your rifle.
