Rockin’ Solar!
6 of 6 found this helpful I bought a Renogy Solar kit and installed it myself! I called tech support a few times and they were incredibly helpful! 4 things were not included and they recommend them - a 40 amp flip fuse near your battery bank, an in line fuse between the panels and the batteries and well nuts (sometimes called expansion nuts) to ensure no roof leaks, and Dicor self leveling Roof Sealant to go into the holes before the well nuts.
I just added a third 100 watt panel to my RV roof. This open box panel was a screaming good deal and it was perfect! I’ll do this again when I add another panel next year, which will max out my Controller and my current battery bank.
P. S. I’m a 65 yr. young woman who did the research and learned as much as I could from reading and comparing the info from all of the forum sites.
