Jane Iredale Amazing Base ~ Natural

High quality mineral loose powder.

This is a fine high pigmented face powder used as a base. The NEUTRAL color is a soft pink undertone for someone with a fair complextion. Give it about 10 to 20 minutes to settle on your skin for the full effect to evolve. Use a brush to apply as shown on instructions in packaging. The Jane Irendale company makes misters to use over the powder it to set the look. These misters work very well but if you are in need of a quick fix a slightly damp polyester cloth pressed onto your face works wonders to create a similar outcome. The mineral effect allows the skin to breath and has a healing and sun protection benefit. The only downside the powder likes to escape its container. I have found cutting a foam makeup pad and inserting it over holes in the dispenser corrects the problem.

Wonderful

A marvelous base. Contrary to beliefs this product works very well on older dry skin. Use a good moisturizer first, wait then put a very light coating of serum over it wait again, then apply the product. Let this settle while you put the rest of your makeup on. I take a damp polyester cloth and very gently press this over the foundation to set it. This probably sounds unusual but it works perfectly. Lasts all day and simple to wash off. After 74 years this my favorite base.
