12" LED Leak Light for Woodwind Instruments - Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Long cord.
    Mar 20, 2018
Super piece of gear for a clarinet or sax player.
This thing has paid for itself if you find one leak, fiddle a bit to get the offending pad to seal and not need a trip to the shop. Not everyone wants to work on a clarinet or tenor. There are some tools that are useful only if you have a fair amount of skill. But often on a sax you can seal a leak just be pushing the pad a little from the side -- if you know just where to fiddle. Obviously on a small pad that has been floated, you might either have to refloat the pad or very slightly bend the orientation of a pad cup. . (Unless you get lucky and see a little bit of crud you can dislodge.) But it is still good to know where the problem is even if you don't feel competent to fix it. This light makes it easy. Very bright, very easy to get into the horn. I kept one in my tenor case and then left it somewhere. Sigh -- well, I just got the replacement. In my limited experience, the pads on a flute are a little tricker to get to seal. This is why I'm recommending it for Sax and maybe clarinet players.
NOVA Mighty Mack Heavy Duty Extra Wide Bariatric Rollator Rolling Walker 4216
    Apr 15, 2019
    Solid and comfortable.
The first rollator chair I bought was relatively inexpensive. I decided to upgrade to a mighty Mack and I'm glad I did. The Mack was more comfortable for sitting extended periods, had larger wheels, better breaks, and it folded more compactly. I don't bother with the back bar or the baskets for that reason. And much better build quality. The old one was relegated to use out in the garden. A month ago I managed to break one of the hand grips. Probably it was weakened because living in the back of a Honda Odyssey it gets a lot of sun. Buying a new pair of grip and break assemblies would run over $50 and I'd have to get a bike shop to install. So the old Mack is now the garden chair and the new chair goes with me. I am close to $400 lbs so having a strong comfortable chair for restaurant meals, visits, etc, is great. This things is great for hauling stuff. When I go to play music I'll strap a tenor sax on and sometimes an amp, mic stands, whatever. In the garden I'll load it with a trash can full of mulch. The price is about 20% higher than 4 years ago but likely that is because of the recent tariffs on steel and stuff made in China.
Flexcut MC175 Mallet Sculptor's Tools Wood Storage Box Set Of 4
    Oct 28, 2019
    Very heavy duty
These are very heavy duty -- I use them on tough woods like osage orange. The #3 and #10 are the two I use the most (out of a large selection of gouges) . Would prefer the #5 to be a half inch wider but it will do what I need. My last parting tool was a Swiss Made and shattered under heavy use (as had a Swiss Made #5 gouge) The flexcuts cut faster and have never failed. I Got this set for travel. Excellent price compared to buying individually. Also, the handles are thicker than my originals. I've reinforced with strapping tape and added leather to the ends. Will be using 2 1/2 lb mallet -- that is a lot of persuasion. Below pieces are Japanese Plum and Macadamia -- a lot harder than White Oak.
