GLASS HARP - Circa 72
Excellent Cleveland PBS broadcast from the early 70s. Prior to television being broadcast in stereo, this was the first time that a concert was simulcast live on TV and FM radio. WMMS in Cleveland provided the stereo feed and the PBS station did the video. This release is nice because you get it all and you also get a version with the band talking about the event as they watch it. It is still available at the GLASS HARP website for a VERY reasonable price.. This is an excellent production, although dated. Pecchio, Sferra and Keaggy were young and shaking things up with their amazing creativity..

A real feel-good fun record start to finish! Quirky and very memorable! I love this record!!
This appears to be a re-issue of the original album at an affordable price! I bought a copy of this in the 60s, saw the band live twice. Over the years, this album got many repeated plays start to finish, and finally was worn out. One of the records I have had that I truly wore out even with good stereo gear! It is great to see this at a good price since out-of-print copies are expensive.
As for the music, it is happy and trippy and is full of cleaver hooks and melodies. IT IS A 60s psychedelic band, and the musicianship is top notch. Nothing progressive, just a feel-good record. I highly recommend this album! (and the bassist is wonderfully clever!)
