eliminates fleas quickly and prevents reinfestation with periodic use
I have tried various products, and they typically stop working. Supposedly this type of topical doesn't have some of the features that other products claim (e.g., killing all life cycles, killing eggs). But this does kill all fleas on my cats. It starts working almost immediately, and I see no more fleas within a few hours. Even using it every couple of months keeps the cats flea free. I tend to get lazy about it during the colder months (why the cats end up with fleas in the first place). Using this on the first sign of fleas clears up the problem. This stuff is not cheap; none of the good treatments are. But it is effective enough to warrant the cost. I like that I don't have to fumble with different varieties based on the cats' sizes. They don't like it (probably the smell), but they're better off for it.
