The photo of the Fawn Brook Inn on the cover of the cookbook was perfect and illustrates its charm
The book, which was signed by the restaurant's owner, is in very good condition and I have enjoyed looking through the recipes and hope to try one soon. In 1980 when my Army officer husband and I were living in Aurora, we happened upon Fawn Brook Inn while driving through the mountains and decided to go in for a meal. Right now I am looking at a photo of me standing outside the restaurant on the path leading to the front door as well as other photos of me inside that my husband had taken that day.. My husband and I had only been married about two years at the time and were so in love .... the quaint atmosphere of the restaurant really added to the romantic experience we had that day. While my husband passed away over 10 years ago, that memory of us being at the Fawn Brook Inn has remained in my heart all of these years. It wasn't until recently when googling Fawn Brook Inn that I was aware there was a cookbook and knew I had to have a memento of that special time from so long ago.

Music that makes you smile …
Was watching the movie the other day and just loved the music. Now I can listen to it without playing the dvd and pretend I’m in France until I can go there in person! Hopefully in 2025!
