Reliable - no problems after years of use.
I've had one of these for a few years now with no problems. I bought another when my carrier kept claiming it had a problem. As it turns out, it did not, the TD8616 modem I had is still working well, but now I can tell them I put in a new one and then they won't be able to claim that. I've read elsewhere that the TD8616 is one of the best, most reliable ADSL2+ modems, so since they are discontinued, I'm glad to have an extra just in case it ever quits.
Buy one - or two - if you plan to be on DSL for any significant period of time.
