Intel x710 quad port card.
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased this to replace a chelsio card in r710 server. Have it connected to two freenas iscsi sans. Worked like a dream doing direct connect with fiber cables.

Good card but
It is a nice card and supports 24 drives. I thought that it supported jbod or just a bunch of disks which is what freenas needed. Since it does not support that function I can't recommend it to anybody. I can use it for a non critical storage unit but don't know when I will use it.

Awesome rails
Needed a set of rails for my R730 server. The nice thing is that they are spring loaded for adjustable size. I did not need rail extenders to fit them in my short rack. Needed rail extenders for my R410 and R710 because they were too long. These are perfect for the short depth rack I have.
