High quality coffee

These were fresh current crop beans and roasted nicely. I took these to a dark roast (2nd crack). This Kenya is somewhat mild for my taste even at dark roast IMO (my wife disagrees) but is delicious when blended with a good dark Brazil Cerrado or even a Ethiopian Harrar. Coffee is such a personal thing, but I think you will miss out on a good experience if you don't give these a try.

Casual listening

The Tecsun PL-310et is a handy little radio. The sound quality is above par for such a small unit. I bought the radio after reading reviews about it's AM(medium wave) sensitivity. Well, evidently I received a not-so-good unit because AM and Longwave reception on this unit is below expectations, definitely not DX quality. FM and Shortwave sensitivity is not bad for a 40.00 radio. I plan to replace its ferrite antenna with a larger one in an attempt to enhance AM sensitivity. The PL-310et is best suited for the casual listener IMO.
