Severely flawed with design defect-- DO NOT BUY
1 of 1 found this helpful This monitor was nice out of the box but is a nightmare. As others have noted, it suffers from a problem where the screen shuts off momentarily at random times. There is no fix and it gets worse as the monitor ages. At first it would shut off for only several seconds each day, and now it shuts off for several seconds every few minutes.
Besides that, I think it is dumb that this doesn't come with a remote control. With a monitor as large as this, a remote would be really useful.
Acer has basically no repair policy except that I would have to ship this huge thing out to them and they would supposedly repair it and send it back to me. This thing is gigantic and would cost me a fortune to ship, but it may come to that.
After living with it for a few months, I wish I never bought it. Big waste of $$$$
