Fine film marred by a poor video transfer.
1 of 2 found this helpful SON OF THE MORNING STAR is a very fine mini-series, unusual for it’s relatively close adherence to the historical record. The script, epic production scale, Montana locations, performances, score are all remarkably high for a television program of that era. I saw it when it was broadcast and owned a VHS. I rate the DVD unacceptable. It is a very poor transfer, not even equal to the VHS or old analog television signal. I would love to fine a quality DVD or see it through a streaming platform.
