Takes a beating.
I have installed cabinets in multiple houses while wearing this rig. It stays in place on my belt, and can be adjusted to fit it's width snug. The rigors of work put it to the test and it's surfaces come out unscathed every time.

Neat feature, but needs some work
5 of 6 found this helpful The plastic forend grip is solid and feels high quality. I purchased this for a 20GA so it wobbles a bit more than if it were on a 12GA magazine tube. To alter the wobble I added 2 strips of "hairy" Velcro that were about 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches long to the top and bottom of the inside cylinder of the grip. This forend does not alleviate the typical forend play of the Mossberg Maverick 88.

Fills the hand and improves grip.
This grip is shorter than the stock SP101 grips by about an eight of an inch. It seems to fill the hand more than the stock grips as well. I absolutely dig the recessed Pachmayr logo on both sides of the grip. I'm in favor of them not because they look fancy, but because they're a tactile spot that helps achieve a proper grip faster. Upon installation of the grip I noticed some wobbling if the revolver was shaken. Attaching the loop side of some Velcro to the bottom and back surfaces inside the Pachmayr grips alleviated the wobbling.
