"Zippo Lighters" by Kristian Pope seems to be a very nicely worked-out and well-thought book. Full of high quality illustrations, it makes a very nice table book to browse through from time to time. But actually, I'd classify this book as a book for beginner Zippo collector or for those who just want to know at least something on a subject. It pictures pretty much of very interesting vintage Zippo ads from magazines, etc (and for that matter it's really worth!), but for me it lacks a bit the main subject -- the Lighter. Information about lighters and pricing is overall less than half of a book and is less than 'Vintage Zippo advertising' section. The prices are given as for 2003 and most of the prices may be more or less irrelevant for 2008. The number of reviewed models is also not that big as one may expect and couldn't pretend to cover many interesting, old or exclusive models.
The average rating I put here is "Good", but I think this book can't be the only guide for an intermediate or serious collector.
