As indicated, it's just the external plastic shell. Good condition, and worked well for me.
Everything was as described, I was hoping that there would be more electronics and components with this, but it is definitely as stated - only count on there being enough parts to replace your shell and nothing else. You will need to disassemble all components, including every button from your previous controller to rebuild as a working unit. Mine appeared to be a dummy unit, like from some kind of display or a prop of some sort (blank buttons were glued into it, and control wheels rigidly cemented, etc.). the shell itself was in good condition, and worked to get my controller fixed.
