Nice shovel
I purchased the Cold Steel Spetsnaz Shovel because of Cold Steel's of the company's reputation and my past experience with their products. The shovel, just like all of their products, is a real usable camp shovel, not some big box store's imitation of one. It is VERY solid feeling. The shovel head is sturdy and should hold up to a lifetime of use, if properly maintained. The handle is solid as a rock...if it breaks, then you did something wrong. Like all of Cold Steel's products, it is a very solid, usable, ready to work tool. It is priced a little higher than some of their competitors, but this is definitely a "You get what you pay for" situations. It is also tiny but mighty. It is small enough, and light enough, to be easy to carry, but big enough to be usable. The handle is the perfect size to fit most hands...not too big, but big enough to get a good grip on it. Overall, it is the perfect camp shovel. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a real, rock solid, dependable camp shovel.
