Good value but has a design problem

For the price this is a pretty good soundbar. The remote has small buttons but is well organized. I connected it with a digital audio cable to the coax input. The sound is an improvement over my tinny-sounding television, but it is not as full as I wanted. A key feature for me was the subwoofer output. But...I could not seem to find the right connector. My RCA cable would not make a connection and a 3.5 mm connector did not feel right and also did not make a connection. I finally determined that the hole for the connector was too small and prevented my RCA cable from going in far enough. I had already returned another brand of soundbar and did not feel like returning another. I took a chance and used an x-acto knife to make the hole larger. Did not take much and now my subwoofer RCA cable is connected. With my sub set to a low volume the sound is pretty good--much fuller than before. So...if you don't want to use a subwoofer and are not too critical this soundbar is a good value. If you do want to use a subwoofer and are using a higher-quality (re: thicker connector) cable then you may need to work on the connector opening.
