ControLeo2 Reflow Oven Controller build kit (open-source) ControLeo
    Feb 01, 2017
    Outstanding Tool
I first purchased the cheap Chinese T962 ovens for building LED board prototypes. I was disappointed in the uniformity of heat, the top-down heat source (putting too much heat into the LEDs), and the small working area (effectively 3" x 4" where the heat is consistent.) I decided to pick up the ControLeo2 kit and the recommended B&D oven and give it a try. Seemed strange to put $189 for parts into a $45 toaster oven, but what the heck, it's a box with heating elements, the rest gets binned in the build. The end result is better than I expected. The kit is complete, the instructions super easy to follow. 6 hours later I had a re-flow oven up and running. The heat distribution is excellent, and the process could not be easier. Building the oven is a bit fussy, mainly with installing the insulation - but it is not massively difficult. Taping the door open is a big help. I purchased two additional insulation components. I added one pc of Boom Mat to the rear wall of the oven, and wrapped the top and sides of the oven box with high temp fiber insulation to keep the exterior cooler and hold more heat in the box. I also made a new bracket to mount the controller more rigidly, but overall found no fault with the kit - I'm just finicky about the fab parts. Started immediately after assembly, only required one learning pass, and flowed my first board at the end of the day. I also connected it to my PC and updated the firmware as instructed - another trouble free process. This is a great setup for creating LED boards up to 5" x 10" using current SMT devices and related components. I could not be happier.

Steampunk Black Pants w/ Bib Front Victorian Costume Accessory Size Standard
    Aug 16, 2016
It is a costume, not made like street wear
If you keep in mind that this is a costume, for party use or such occasion, it is fine. The material is lightweight and the quality of construction is not up to even bargain brand street clothing. The elastic in the back is also a little strange for those unused to that type of fit. But, for a night of fun in costume, this is a good buy.
General Tools UV513AB Digital UV AB Light Meter

    For 365nm Only
The meter states on its packaging and in marketing materials that it works up to 400nm+. Older versions of this meter did work to some degree to 405nm. However, In the new calibration/sensitivity curve for the sensor now used in this does not see anything above 380nm. Sensitivity at 400 and 405nm is so low that the meter is unusable. If you are measuring sources centered at 365nm, this meter is a great buy. For anything else, it will not work.
