Great learning tool if you have soldering experience
It took about 5 hours to carefully put this together. A fine tip soldering iron is essential. You also need a decent multimeter to identify the resistors. A cheap digital meter will do. Pointy nose pliers and end cutters are helpful though you could get by with just a small pair of diagonal cutters. I took care to test each component and check them against the schematic and parts list. The resistors were spot on. All the bypass (0.1uF) capacitors were low value but usable. I used a better quality component for C1 which is the input capacitor but the kit component would have worked. The insructions are sparse but adequate for intermediate level kit builders. I suggest you make copies of the schematic and board layout and check off each component as you place it. Be especially careful with resistors R9 through R14 as the markings on the PCB are a little confusing. The unit powered up immediately. This is a good starter scope for simple Arduino projects.
